Report  Checklist

Evaluate	Carries out tests to compare the product/solution against the design specification And describes them. The final product has everything that the design specification asked for, and from the results we got it was all well done and everything was the way that it had to be. In the final product all of the pages were well done and they were had all of the information that they need.
	Evaluates the product from the user´s point of view. From the user’s point of view the entire magazine was well done. It has some mistakes but little ones but apart from that the magazine was well done. The users think that the magazine was interesting and well done, with little mistakes and everything ok.
	Considers the impact of the product/solution on individuals and/or on society. The impact that the final product had on the individual was good, he/she had a good expression after evaluation the final product. The impact that had on society it was good because all of the articles had something interesting and something new that the society could’ve learn from.
	Explains how the product/solution could be improved. The final product could be improved by checking it more times to see if it really is ok or if it needs more details. Also it could be improve by making it look more attractive and somehow more a cutting the attention of the viewer.
	Reflects on their performance at each stage of the design cycle, identifies the parts they found difficult  In the part of investigate I had a little trouble because at first I didn’t know what to write about or what to talk about and when I got the idea of doing what I did I was really behind. In the part of investigate everything worked well and I had no trouble when I was doing that. In the part of plan I had a little trouble because I didn’t know if the idea for the magazine my class mates would’ve like it but at the end they said that it was ok. In the part of create I had no trouble because I did what I was asked for and I had all my things ready. In the last part in evaluate everything is going well so far.
	Suggests ways in which their performance could be improved. They could’ve be better if they would’ve help a little more and when they were absent ask what they had miss so that we kept right on track. Also they could’ve be more comprehensive they got mad at everything and most of the time it was hard to give an idea with them.

 

Create

Create	Describes a variety of techniques and equipment used for the creation of the product. To create the final product we use many techniques some of them were to separate the work so that we could finish quickly. To create the final product we used the design cycle. First we look for a topic to write about, and then we investigate about the topic that we choose and look for the important information of the topic. Then we design how it was going to be the magazine we design each of the pages that the magazine should have. We also create a design specification to guide the creation. After that we did the part of plan that is when everyone plan who it was going to be each page and in general the entire magazine. Lastly we are in the part of crate that is when we create the magazine and put images and texts in the pages, that have to do with the topic that each one choose.
	Describes how they worked making a safe working environment for themselves and their classmates We all worked together to make a safe environment, for us and for everyone. Fist we were on task and we did not distract other people. We also did what we were asked to do so that we can finish on time. We were in class on time so that we can finish the work on time. Most of the time when we worked together and use our time wisely and did not interrupt other people while they were working.
	Adds evidence of the creation of the product through pictures or screenshots.
	Explains why their product has appropriate quality The product has a quality appropriate because it is creative. It has all the things that were asked in the design specification. It has all the things that we put in the design brief. In all the pages there is information that it has be trust it has no spelling mistakes that could make a web page not trustable. In all pages there are pictures and an ad that it makes a web page interesting and attractive.  Each page has the work cited that is where we got the information and makes a web page trustable, also there is a contact information were you can contact the people that create the magazine or if you have any question about the web page. Finally the magazine and the article are appropriate quality and has everything that i9t was asked to have.

 

El Tornado de los tres estados

 

Fue la tarde del 18 de marzo de 1925. Fue uno de los tornados más grandes del mundo. Arrasó con tres estados: Illinois, Missouri e Indiana por esto es conocido como el tornado de los tres estados.

Se había detectado una fuerte lluvia, vientos fuertes y un clima bastante frío, nada fuera de lo normal. Cuando el viento que bajaba de Wyoming, Canadá, antes de desviarse hacia Missouri chocó con el aire caliente que provenía del Golfo de México, creando una gigantesca tormenta que se la denominaba supercélula. La tormenta se originó en el “El Callejón de los Tornados”, se lo denomina así porque por lo general es donde se crean los tornados con más frecuencia. Para los científicos aún es un completo misterio como ocurrió el tornado. 

Las supercélula son tormentas violentas y de gran tamaño (aproximadamente 13 kilómetros de alto), vienen acompañadas con vientos, lluvias, granizo (el tamaño de estos depende en que tan fuerte es la tormenta) y relámpagos; pero esa no es la peor parte, después de tocar el suelo se llena de tierra y es cuando uno de los más devastadores tornados se vuelve visible.  La supercélula de 1925 fue una de las tormentas más grandes, abarcaba hasta 17 estados y para el medio día ya habían empezado los tornados en Kentucky, India, Alabama y Kansas.

Se registraban 9 torbellinos de los cuales dos eran de nivel F2, cuatro de nivel F3 y dos de F4, sin embargo el ultimo se creía que era un torbellino nivel F4, pero no es así era uno mucho más fuerte. Los tornados se miden dependiendo e e su fuerza en la escala Fujita, empieza en el F0 que no es nada fuerte, y termina en el F6 que es el más fuerte nunca se ha llegado a registrar un de esa magnitud es a llegado; F5 es a lo más fuerte que se ha llegado y a ese tornado se lo denominó como “El Dedo del Diablo”.

 

 

Missouri 

La gente del lugar observo “una nube oscura en forma de embudo que rugía como un  gigantesco tren de carga y se iluminaba con relámpagos”. Poco tiempo después lo que paso fue que el tornado paso por encima de la ciudad casi aniquilando la ciudad por completo. Para cuando el dedo de dios ya había descendido los árboles, en Missouri, se rompían como palillos de dientes, fue alrededor de la 13h00. 

Se registró una velocidad de 116km/h, a los 14 minutos llego a Annapolis donde la destruyo casi por completo. El tornado avanzo cada vez con más y más fuerza; cuando llegó a Bollinger hirió a 32 niños. El tornado creo un fenómeno aún más destructivo que es cuando un tornado se divide y se convierte en una familia de tornados, fue hacia Biehle y Frohna. Cuando volvió a unirse dejo a 11 muertos e innumerables daños, acumulando cada vez más y más fuerza. Para después de esto se registraba que el tornado había alcanzado una velocidad de 129 km/h. A pesar de todos los daños que creo en Missouri lo peor lo dejo para Illinois.

Illinois 

Un vez que pasó Missouri fue directo a Illinois donde llegó a un lugar deshabitado, pero poco tiempo después llegó a Gorham donde mató a 37 personas. Le tomo ocho minutos llegar a Murphysboro; al llegar tenía una base de 1.6km de ancho. Hubieron varios casas destruidas, las escuelas eran derrumbadas, por los fuertes vientos, sobre los niños. Un 40% del pueblo dejo de existir en unos pocos segundos, dejando a aproximadamente 243 personas muertas. 

El tornado aún tenía fuerzas para continuar destruyó varios pueblos entre esos el pueblo minero de Western Frankfort donde los mineros se salvaron la vida por estar trabajando en la mina cuando todo el desastre se desato. Cuando salieron se encontraron con un paisaje desolador, por lo menos, un veinte paciente del lugar estaba completamente destruido y 127 personas perdieron la vida la mayoría mujeres y niños. El tornado siguió y paso por varios pueblos más donde los destruyo casi por completo uno de estos pueblos era el de Parrish, quedo un 90% destruido. En total 613 muertos en Illinois.  En menos de 40 minutos mato a 541 personas y dejo aproximadamente 1423 heridos. Fue un tornado devastador y nunca antes se habían registrados tales cifras.

Indiana 

El tornado, al dejar Illinois fue directo al pueblo de Griffin donde sorprendió a los niños cuando ellos se dirigían a sus casas. Allí mató a 26 personas, aproximadamente 202 fueron heridas y paso destruyendo todo a su paso. Varios testigos dicen que el tornado creo otra familia cuando este se dividió en tres. Los tornados pasaron por varias granjas donde mataron a 65 personas. Una vez que destruyo todas esas granjas, fue directo a Princeton donde dejo en pie solo la mitad, paso por Owesville también. Avanzó 16 kilómetros más y desapareció cerca de las 16:30. En total viajó 337 kilómetros, tuvo una duración de tres horas y media y tenía vientos de más  de 482km/h.

Hubieron varias secuelas después del tornado: hubieron pueblos completamente destruidos, aproximadamente 695 personas muertas, una aproximación de 2,027 personas heridas, alrededor de 15,000 casa destruidas y daños de 16.5 millones de dólares. La base del tornado era de 1.2 a 5 km de ancho. El tornado probablemente recorrió una distancia mucho más larga de lo que se dice, probablemente empezó antes de la 13:00h. Los científicos aún no sabes que causó este fenómeno. 

El tornado de los tres estados fue uno de los desastres naturales más devastador que ha existido, uno de los más raros también. Nunca se registró tales cifras e un tornado y varias de las muertes y heridos siguen siendo un récord hoy en día.

Design

Pros

The first design has the following:

Has a Home page, has the names of everyone in the group, it specifically says were everything goes, it is well planned, it has pictures, it has hyperlinks, it can be understand easily and it has adds.

Cons

I think that everything is ok; maybe it could be better if it has everything more specific.

We choose the design number because it was the design that followed with all the things asked in the design specification. There are something’s that are wrong but is has only one or two that it can be fixed. The design 1 was well planned and had most of the things ok.PlanPlans the time

We used about 3 classes to plan the final product. It was enough time to work and to plan all of the things. If the 3 classes are not enough then we should take to finish at home but I don’t think that, that is necessary because, 3 classes are enough to plan the whole thing.Plans the materials

The materials that we used were: a computer, the internet, Weebly (to create the magazine), word, word press, Moodle, YouTube videos, images, information, PowerPoint.Plans the procedure

First we look for the information, then we create the article that each one has to create, then we cheek to see if everything is ok, then we put all together and we start to create the magazine, in the magazine we start with the home page, then all the articles with the ads and the videos and lastly we present the magazine.
